Help us Build and Support
La Escuela Bilingue los Algarrobos.
Canoa is a small fishing village on the northern coast of Ecuador. Because many of its families live on less than $250 per month, education has not always been an option for the children.
A little money goes a long way.
An entire classroom can built for $10,000.
For only $100 per month, a child's tuition can be paid.
The parents asked for our help in making this school a reality, and we are now asking you to help us.
Your contributions are fully tax-deductable.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
A small portion of our budget comes from school tuition, but the majority comes from donations from people just like you. With your help, we can continue to offer a chance of a better future for these children.SCHOOL OPERATIONS
To run the school costs $100,000 per school year. We receive approximately $10,000 a year from tuition, leaving an annual $90,000 deficit. In addition to paying staff, land taxes and legal and government expenses, we must also pay annual maintenance costs. Your donation will help us keep the school open.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Each student must pay a registration fee, purchase 2 school uniforms, and pay $30 per month in tuition.  Your $100 a month will keep the neediest students in the school.CONSTRUCTION
Last year our construction budget for 2 classrooms and a central bathroom facility is $13,000. We have raised money to build one new classroom but we need to raise enough to build one more as it is more financially viable to build two at a time. For a donation of $10,000 you will get naming rights to a classroom.
