Building a school - empowering the future
La Escuela Bilingue los Algarrobos is approved for kindergarten through sixth grade. Construction, only partially completed as of April, 2009, has been accomplished largely by a dedicated team of parents, funders and volunteers. Working through heavy rains, tight deadlines and limited resources, this team had completed enough space to house the two kindergarten and one first grade classes of 2008.
The 2009-2010 school year brings the construction of two additional classrooms, a central bathroom facility, a kitchen upgrade and a computer room. Additional classrooms, a library and an administrative office are needed in order to support the students through sixth grade.

A donation of $6,000 will allow you to name a classroom in honor of a loved one, a past teacher, a dear friend.
